The Stepfather is about a serial killer who goes from family-to-family portraying a widower and making a home with the family he has tricked, molding them to fit his needs. The movie is tagged as a horror/thriller and the advertisements show acts of crazy violence and a very aggressive Dylan Wash as the Stepfather.
There are few movies in the world that truly manage to immerse people into their world, to make them feel that elements from the big screen have crept into their life. After seeing the horror film Paranormal Activity, completed in late 2007 and only coming to theaters now, I can safely say that I was fully engrossed in this terrifying homage to the Blair Witch Project.
