Several easily implemented changes could improve parking for students who live on campus. They cost almost nothing to implement, and will result in a more logical arrangement for everyone.
Eliminate or reduce the added maintenance marking spots in SH1. I’ve never actually seen a maintenance cart parked in one. Most of the time, they just park on the street, which doesn’t pose a problem.

On Thurday, November 12, 2009, at CSUCI’s John Spoor Broome Library, CI’s art department hosted its first all-student sculpture show entitled, “Acts of Sculpture.” The event, organized by CI student, Raul Valdez, was a smashing success with a high turnout of CI students, CI professors, and art enthusiasts.

When residents of CSUCI’s Anacapa moved into their dorms this Fall, they were surprised to find that there were no longer laundry manchines on the second and third floors of their buildings.
There were now only 8 machines in the various buildings first floors – four washers and four dryers.
