This week’s artist highlight puts the spotlight on Allyson Ramirez, fourth year, studio arts major whose love for the kelp forest, the ocean, and its creatures shines through her ceramics. Ramirez has also been creating her own jewelry since 2022 which then evolved into a small business. She enjoys taking inspiration from both cartoon media and nature. Ramirez incorporates anything from various berries to characters from different shows through different beads and charms to create dazzling pieces.
